Empty Threats

At Christ Church Las Vegas today we ask what should be done with these disciples? It is obvious that a miracle has occurred through them; it’s clear to everyone living in Jerusalem; and we’re not able to deny it. The man Peter and John Heald was standing right in front of them. So they Command them to stop speaking or teaching in the name of Jesus. This passage tells us how Peter and John responded and provides an example for us to respond as they did in our day.
